James Douglas S Carolina St Univ class of 1991 Just to give you some background, I am a relationship counselor in the Atlanta. Remember…actions speak louder than words. Your girlfriend could be saying a lot of things to you without using words. Without knowing the details, I have to make a few assumptions. Wanting to go to the game without you could mean, “I need a little space and every now and then I would like to do things without you.” If that is the case, it’s normal. Give her some space every now and then. On the other hand, it could mean, “I want to see other people every now and then, and I need a little space.” Unfortunately, that is normal as well. Here’s the good news: Give her the space she wants. Whether the space is needed for innocent reasons or she is trying the creep with someone else, everything will work out for the best. It is not worth tripping or getting your blood pressure up. If you want to go to game, GO! But don’t go to the game to spy on her. Go to the game to have a good time. nikita bluntson its the fact that it is their anniversity. they are suppose to be together on that day. that is a very special day. they are suppose to be celebrating the love that has grown over the year or years. i would think the man would want to go to the game rather than a girl. i don't know that sould pretty fishy. if she cheated on you than maybe she don't know if she wants to be with you or not sorry to say. she prob need that space to distinguish if u guys are made for each other Friday, September 21st 2007 at 5:16PM

Courtney Wilkerson You could go to the game with her and if she start making a big deal you want to go with her then you k now something is up. But you could make the most out of this night. Do something nice before and after. Something romantic. And just have fun at the game in the middle. If you had plans... I could see why you might be mad like reservations at a resturant many people can't get into but if not it shouldn't matter where yall are on your anniversary b/c yall will be together. If you break up with her over her choosing to go to the game vs. being with you, you will kick yourself later. So go with her and yall still be together on that special day. Don't listen to some of those messages above b/c some of those people seem like when things get rough in their relationships they are the first to give up and leave. Don't just "move on." Relationships are work. Don't focus on celebrating on the day, but what you are celebrating. However, if she was just going on to the game without wanting you there, has cheated on you 3 times(!), and disrespected you by becoming physically aggressive (regardless of whether it was in public or private), then I say, take a long deep breathe, and move on.
