Montclair State University has teamed with the Prudential Foundation and the Newark Public Schools to bring 45 strong, new math and science teachers to Newark, NJ. If you have a math or science undergraduate major and you sense within yourself a commitment to meet some of our country’s most urgent needs, Newark needs you to join this drive. Help connect Newark’s school children with the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math fields so fundamental to their advancement. A Prudential Teaching Scholarship pays your full tuition and fees for a post baccalaureate initial New Jersey teaching license in mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, or physical science.
