TODAY (FEB. 04): Heathcliff Goes Hip Hop THE FACTS: • Bill Cosby is planning to release a rap album. THE SPIN: Bill Cosby has decided to add his name to an already incredibly long roster of people who have no business stepping into a recording studio. The aging comedian, actor and philanthropist is prepping the release of his first rap album called, “State of Emergency.” The album will focus on,“proper parenting, teen pregnancy, drug abuse, Black-on-Black crime and the dropout rate in America's high schools,” according to All Hip Hop) So no snap songs, no dance called, “The Jell-O” and no Lisa Bonet dis’ record -- I take it he doesn’t plan to get any radio airplay. Also in Cosby tradition, he will not use any profanity on the album. He sure knows how to have fun, doesn’t he? He also noted that he won’t denigrate any women on the album. That’s probably due to him spending so much time denigrating teenagers on the album. As of now there is no planned release date, but without any guest appearances from T-Pain, Akon and R.
