Ambitious writers need assistance in producing "M" Indie film

Ambitious writers need assistance in producing "M" Indie film

Dear Investor,

My name is Joanes Edouard Jr and my writing partner Carlos Highsmth are both authors/screenwriters. We have been in the game for years waiting to enjoy the fuits of our labor. We have written numerous projects that we know will make an impact in the film industry. The industry has been losing its luster due to no originality in film making. Everything made today is being recycled or just being made as sequels. My parner and I want to change all that. Im sure you have heard it all before but one thing I can promise is that you are dealing with real hustlers who are adamant on making history not headlines. We want to achieve the american dream not only for ourselves but for our families as well. We know we can make quality films with low budgets that will capitalize the market.

We have approach numerous philantropist and investors with our business plans, film budgets and scripts for funding to make our films. But we have failed miserably time and time again. My partner and I do not have agents to support us nor any strong contacts but yet we go to the film festivals and different events praying for film opporunities. Just for someone to listen and to give us a shot. Weve met and pitched to people down with Screen gems, Green street films, Bill Duke Media, Overbook Ent, Rain Forest Films, Jean Claude Lamarr and etc. Still nothing has elevated our status. So we decided to take it upon ourselves to put our projects out independently like Spike Lee did. Like Geoge Lucas got star wars, Brian Depalma got Scarface, Speilberg got E.T, Jaws and Jurassic Park and Mario Van Peoples got New Jack City. This project is our one right here. Our project called "M" that we currently need funding for production wise and marketing is going to make us immortal.

The synopsis of the script discusses two iconic figures, Martin Luther King Jr(Jeffrey Wright) and Malcolm X (Terrence Howard) meeting at a secret remote location in Selma Alabama. The two civil right leaders discuss political issues and conspiracies from the JFK assassination to the FBI COUNTELPRO program under the watchful eye of FBI Director, J Edgar Hoover. Both Malcolm and Martin learn to adapt to each others worlds revealing there human side in great depth whether in argument or allegiance. Meanwhile, the FBI use different tactics and measures to prevent (The Black Messiah) targets which are black civil leaders who could unify and electrify Black Nationalist movements and their leaders. As the feds continue there propaganda and campaign to condemn Dr King and Minister Malcolm crusade. Both men begin to form a blueprint for blacks and minorities as a whole to have a unified state of their own where all cultures can migrate freely without segregation. Both men agree to making, the state of Georgia, the new Liberia like Marcus Garvey in his time. Two FBI spies (Billy Bob Thorton & Sam Rockwell) discover these plans and begin to initiate there final phase by eradicating both men from being triumphant. Meeting for the first and last time both ministers show their brilliance in beating the odds against the FBI, knowing there sacrifice will inspire a nation for change but in the end will be there ultimate demise for freedom and justice for all men created equal.

The actors associated with this film were chosen by my partner and I due to their acting abilities. My partner and I are asking for anyone help for the production of this contraversial project that we know will build an oscar buzz. If you have any questions please contact me anytime at 678-230-1616.

Thank you for your time and patience on reading this letter.

Joanes
