Lincoln University of PA wins 1st Football Game after 48 year absence

Posted By: Michael Bailey on September 02, 2008 The Lincoln University Lions Men's Football Team Restored the Roar back on campus after defeating George Mason University in it's first football game in 48 years. There was an abundance of fans, both students and alumni, on hand to witness this historical event. The Lions started off the game behind 7 - 0 in the first quarter but gained momentum on their second possession and never looked back. They defeated the Patriots of George Mason 34 -7.
