My life experience with the wrong boy in college

Posted By: Jessica Jaggers on June 16, 2005 ...It was the 1st week of college..It was Orienation...I met this boy his nicname was Loonie...Okay I thought he was a good person...Someone who didn't play with ones emotions...So I start talking to him and getting to know him and he seems really cool...So we start having intercourse with each other...Well later on down the line I start actually loving him...Only I don't think he knew...His friends knew...So he meets this other girl named Sasha...Sasha is well known throughout the whole college...Anyways...They start talking and he starts to like her I guess....So she found out that me and him were messing around and she asked him about it...So he called me and told me that I was telling his business and all of that and told me that I was throwing salt in his game...Might I remind you that Sasha looks like a man...Many have said so...So she gets mad at him for whatever reason and I call her one day to ask if they were going out...Thats all I wanted to know because if they were the I would have to stop messing with him...So she said that they weren't going out and all this that and the other...and we ended up talking about him and what he does to her... So she gets mad and I'm pissed because of how he treated her better then me but I got over it...It was Feb. 27 and we had a so called meeting...I told her right in front of his face that I had messed around with him...That was the truth...So she says okay and he says "I don't like you like that" so I get up and walk off...Now I'm pissed...So I was talking to his homeboy just talking about him and how mad I was..I was hurt badly too...His homeboy reassured me that everything will get better and they did...Because I met one of his other friends...and I told him the story and it was like he could understand me...And I'm happy I chose to talk to his friend because if I didn't i would be a bitter lonely female... I just want to make a couple of comments. First of all when that boy called you with that mess you shoulda let him go right then and there cause he basically saying "its over with you and me unless you keep your mouth shut about it and recognize that Sasha is my main girl" F#ck that!! You aint got to take that, you aint ugly, and even a ugly chick dont need somebody like that. Secondly it is okay to feel hurt by this situation. I know how if feels to lose something or somebody that you love, when they humiliated you by throwing your love back in your face AND you got to see him everyday ... its hard. But that hurt is only going to go away with time and maturity. I hope when you say that you started talking to his friend you're not doing it out of spite because in the end you still up BITTER cuz you just trying to get even. And just for good measure you might want to consider where you new friend's loyalty lies especially since he was friends with "loonie" first. Take some time to yourself and instead of being bitter be PROUD. Be proud that you didn't continue to let this boy use you, be proud that you didnt settle for second best, and be proud that you have the courage to look for something better. You could have easily been Sasha, grinning and cheesing behind your back, THINKING she won while he still doing the SAME thing just with somebody else, and you know what... she STILL miserable. And trust me that relationship wont last especially if she was dogging him behind his back while she was talking to you. You did good to let him go. Dont EVER play a fool and keep your head up.
