Posted By: agnes levine on October 27, 2008 About two years ago, I became obsssed with the gospel song, "Prayer of Jabezz" and I was so frustrated because I heard God's call, but I felt stiffled. I prayed for God to increase my territory because I could not figure out how to fulfill His purpose. God revealed to me to that I had to reveal to the world that I was Bipolar. That was my shame and stigma back then and I would not be obedient. My book was already written and I intended to publish it under the original title. I had a vision one night and when I woke up I was saying yes, Lord. That was on a Sunday morning and when I went to church, my Pastor was preaching about obedience and the naked self. It all came together that I had to stop hiding behind my chosen title and be more forthcoming to help others. I stopped being selfish. I stopped hiding behind the mask. It is my word to you that once I began living in complete obedience with what God asked me to do, my territory has been increased like I never imagined. I used to worry that I would not feel like doing something God asked me to do. Well, I needed to say that I have so much joy doing His work that sometimes I forget to eat. Smile. I noticed today the number of subscribers and I just want to say, THANK YOU!!!:)) Please, please, let's flatten those statistics that say blacks don't seek mental healthcare! Please, please let's help family members and friends obtain treatment and experience a good, good quality of life!
