Nocturnist - Physician Overview Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our Hospitalist team as a Nocturnist in Normal, Illinois. Opportunity Details Excellent compensation ($1,000 shift differential) in addition to generous sign-on bonus .5 FTE Nocturnist position (7 PM – 7 AM) Work 1 week (7 days in a row) per month Sick days allotted from day 1 Established Hospitalist program Open ICU with 12 licensed ICU beds No procedures Excellent benefits package including health/dental/life insurance, 403-B plan with employer match, LTD, relocation allowance, CME allowance, and paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance coverage Nursing floor based rounding Hospitalists run all codes Opportunity for research and/or academic affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation’s first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering Modern, state-of-the-art facility; Carle BroMenn Medical Center is a 200-bed hospital that is a DNV-Certified Primary Stroke Center, Level II Trauma Center, and an Accredited Chest Pain Center Great consulting service support About Our Community Bloomington-Normal is centrally located to Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis.
