Post Doctoral Fellows Post Doctoral Fellows Georgetown University: Main Campus: McDonough School of Business Location: Main Campus Open Date: Nov 25, 2025 Deadline: Description The Georgetown Center for Business and Public Policy invites applications for postdoctoral fellowship positions in applied microeconomics and industrial organization for the academic calendar year 2026-28. These positions will begin in the Summer/Fall 2026 and continue for up to two years, subject to budget approval. Of particular interest are scholars who examine competition, regulation or innovation and those whose research focuses on the economics of, and economic policies directed toward, newly emerging business models and industries. The Georgetown Center offers a competitive stipend, as well as support for travel and research-related expenses. Postdoctoral Fellows will join an active economics research community, have ample opportunities to connect with new collaborators and mentors, and present and obtain feedback on their own research. Applicants should have completed their Ph.D. no earlier than August 2024 or must anticipate receiving a Ph.D. no later than August 31, 2025. Its mission is to engage scholars, industry practitioners, and policymakers in inquiry and dialogue and to disseminate knowledge on issues at the nexus of business and public policy. Across diverse industries and economic sectors, it investigates the evolution of innovation, competition, and regulation. It conducts empirical economic analysis, keeps abreast of relevant issues, and informs policies that promote economic welfare.
