Job SummaryThis unique 6-month MBGNA internship takes place Monday, May 4 to Friday, November 6, 2026. This position will complete rotations with members of the Horticulture Team and assist in seasonally appropriate garden maintenance, support project development and implementation, and may provide horticulturally relevant content for programs and events. Rotations include but are not limited to the peony garden, thematic display gardens, bonsai care, native plant gardens, and greenhouse and conservatory support. In order to fully participate in team collaboration and project work, selected candidates are expected to complete all dates of the internship, which may include evening and weekend hours. Work Schedule40 hours per week including occasional evening and weekend work. Work LocationsMBGNA comprises 841 total acres, spanning across four sites, including the gardens, arboretum, a bog, and natural areas. This internship will take place at rotating MBGNA sites and locations. Modes of WorkPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.
