Program Manager (TS/SCI Required)
KBR is seeking a Program Manager to join our team in Albuquerque, NM supporting the Space Systems Command Innovation and Prototyping Delta (SSC/SZI).
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the face of the company to our government customer.
Manage the resources, personnel, and services necessary to provide program management support for all contract functions to include, but not limited to: quality, safety, security, and risk; accountable for credible cost, schedule, and performance reporting to the Government.
Establish and maintain a proactive, effective, and efficient program team that is responsive to changes in program/mission requirements.
Maintain a high level of quality of work, collaboration, open communication, and engagement with the Government program team.
Maintain an understanding of SSC/SZIs mission and strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Prepare for and conduct Program Management Reviews, as well as more frequent informal status meetings, at a frequency and scope as defined in the contract.
Notify the Government of any problems in meeting contract requirements as the problems are known.
Provide appropriate representation for meetings, as required, to include, but not limited to: management meetings and customer meetings at various locations.
Responsible for subcontract management necessary to integrate work performed on this contract.
Responsible and accountable for subcontractor performance on contract.
Report all contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) required for performance of services provided under this contract via the secure data collection site (i.e., Contract Manpower Reporting Application).
Participate in and contribute to Government processes and assign appropriate resources to effectively support the requirement.
Respond to Government requests for contractually driven requirements within timeframes requested by the Government for action.
Integrate and coordinate all activities needed to execute the requirement to include but not limited to: resource allocation, corrective action plans proposal submittals, timely identification of issues, and effective management of government approved and established vendors.
Provide required necessary on-site resources and infrastructure to manage, perform, and administer the contract.
Qualifications:
Required:
Security Clearance: Must have an active U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain and SAP eligibility
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Bachelors degree required; science, engineering, or management preferred
Current knowledge of space ground station development, management, maintenance and employment in garrison and operational environments
Current knowledge of DoD Contracting, Finance and Acquisition
Current Program Management experience executing $10M+ annually in the DoD, or related organization
Current experience managing 20+ employees
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Superior collaboration and organizational skills
Proactive and highly motivated
Able to work in a secure, confined location
20% travel to support customer mission and goals may be required
Expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques for measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition systems or services
Expertise in Government project governance and stakeholder communication
Desired:
Understanding of the Space Systems Command Innovation and Prototyping Delta (SZI) Prototype Ground Development and Sustainment Branchs (SZIG) mission
5 - 10 years of program management experience supporting Department of Defense or related organization
Advanced STEM degree is preferred
Familiarity with SSC Ground Operations, facilities maintenance, cloud migration, and digital engineering practices
Work Environment:
Location: On-site (Government site daily)
Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
Working Hours: Standard
Basic Compensation: $137,000 - $205,500 (This range is for New Mexico only.)
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
