  • Write press releases and attend staff and production meetings
  • Manage theatre email lists, archival recordings, photography, and the department script library

Department Events Publicity Management
  • Manage publicity and logistics for guest lectures, workshops, conferences, book launches, symposia, and related receptions in cooperation with the Department Chair and faculty
  • Write and disseminate promotional content across campus communication channels
  • Coordinate design, printing, and distribution of promotional materials
  • Provide event support and attend planning meetings

Departmental Communications Channels Management
  • Maintain and update departmental and archival websites
  • Produce and distribute the bi-weekly newsletter
  • Manage digital signage, social media platforms, and online calendar listings

Community Outreach
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies aligned with departmental goals
  • Build partnerships with regional schools, arts organizations, and community entities
  • Expand public engagement initiatives and collaborative opportunities

Recruitment of New Majors
  • Plan and manage promotional and recruitment events for prospective students (majors nights, orientations, campus showcases, etc.)
  • Develop strategies to inform and recruit students to the FTT major
  • Advise FTT Student Ambassadors, hold monthly meetings, oversee elections, and delegate tabling and event duties.
