We collect, analyze and share crucial data to help develop programs, policies, and laws that: - Promote equitable access to high-quality healthcare - Control cost growth - Improve healthcare quality THE ROLE The ideal candidate is motivated by public service, enjoys working with complex agreements and compliance requirements, and takes pride in maintaining strong administrative controls and accurate documentation. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with internal program and fiscal staff, as well as partner agencies, while contributing to high-impact initiatives that improve access to care and health outcomes for communities across the state. Candidates with experience in federal grant administration, contract management, and compliance monitoring are strongly encouraged to apply. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS - Schedule: -- Monday - Friday -- Full-time (40 hours per week) -- First shift - Location: 450 Capitol Avenue in Hartford, CT - Work Environment: Hybrid (OHS offers a flexible work schedule with eligibility for 50% or more telework) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE Seven (7) years of experience in planning, implementation and/or management of grant programs on a community, state or federal level. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED - College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree. - A Master's degree in a closely related field may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the General Experience.
