About   (request update)
I am a healthcare professional with six years of hands-on experience providing patient-centered care in fast-paced clinical settings. Throughout my career, I have developed strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills while working with diverse patient populations. These experiences deepened my passion for nursing and strengthened my commitment to advancing in the field. I am proud to share that I will begin the Emory MN program in Fall 2026 as I continue working toward becoming a nurse practitioner. I am dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care and advocating for underserved communities while striving for continuous professional and personal growth.

Claim To Fame:
My claim to fame in college has been my resilience and consistency. While many people may remember awards, titles, or public recognition, I am most proud of being known as someone who does not quit. No matter the challenge, whether it was a demanding course load, balancing work in healthcare, or navigating personal obstacles, I remained committed to my goals. I showed up every day with discipline, even when motivation was low. I became known among peers for being dependable and focused. If there was a group assignment, I was prepared. If there was a difficult discussion, I contributed thoughtfully. If someone needed help understanding material, I was willing to support them. I built a reputation not just for academic performance, but for maturity, accountability, and quiet leadership. My journey has not been perfect. I have experienced setbacks that could have easily discouraged me. Instead of allowing those moments to define me, I used them as fuel. My acceptance into nursing school stands as a reflection of that persistence. It represents years of growth, sacrifice, and belief in my purpose to serve others in healthcare. If I am remembered for anything, I hope it is for my work ethic, my perseverance, and my commitment to becoming better than I was yesterday. My claim to fame is not a single moment of recognition. It is the steady, consistent effort that proves I am capable of achieving the goals I set for myself.
Most Memorable Moment:
One of my most memorable college moments wasn’t a single event. It was the realization that I was capable of more than I ever imagined. As a first-generation college student and someone who has faced personal and academic setbacks, college was never just about earning a degree. It was about proving to myself that my past did not define my future. There were nights I questioned if I belonged, if I was prepared enough, or if I was strong enough to keep going. Every time I pushed through doubt, I grew. A defining moment for me was receiving my nursing school acceptance. After years of working in healthcare, balancing coursework, personal challenges, and self-doubt, that email felt like confirmation that my resilience meant something. It reminded me why I stayed disciplined, why I sacrificed, and why I refused to quit. That moment was not just about getting in. It was about becoming. Another unforgettable experience was engaging in classroom discussions where I was challenged to think critically and speak confidently. In those moments, I realized my voice mattered. College did not just sharpen my academic skills. It strengthened my confidence, emotional intelligence, and leadership. The most meaningful moments were not always public or celebratory. Sometimes they were quiet. Studying alone late at night. Choosing growth over comfort. Asking for help when I needed it. Those moments shaped me the most. College has been transformative. It has tested me, refined me, and prepared me to serve others with empathy and purpose. The lessons I carry forward are bigger than grades or awards. They are resilience, discipline, and belief in myself.
