Rising sophomore Chemical Engineering student at Penn State with a 4.0 GPA and hands-on experience across polymer materials, bioelectronics, and MedTech. Currently an Inks & Coatings R&D Intern at PennColor, where I work on industrial coating formulations and scale-up. As an undergraduate researcher in Penn State's Bioelectronics Lab, I help microfabricate flexible polymeric neural interfaces and run electrical characterization on neural probes. I previously co-founded MRN CarbonTech, engineering composite filters for carbon capture, and I'm building Ovride, a MedTech platform that automates clinical administrative workflows. Skilled in polymer formulation, electrospinning, SEM, and CAD. Fluent in Arabic and English
Current Whereabouts:
Right now I'm deep into polymer chemistry, between my coatings internship at PennColor and microfabricating flexible neural implants in my research lab. Outside of that I'm building Ovride, a MedTech platform for independent clinics. When I'm not working I'm rock climbing (currently projecting V5/V6), caving, or fishing.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I want to use chemical and polymer engineering to build medical and environmental systems that actually last, especially in neural interfaces, where better materials could mean implants that don't fail patients over time. Long term, I want to keep bridging research and real-world impact: developing the science in the lab and building the companies that get it into people's hands. The throughline for me is taking advanced materials and turning them into reliable things that genuinely improve and protect human lives.

Most Memorable Moment:
Getting my first clean signal off a polymer neural probe I'd helped fabricate, and realizing the soft-material approach actually worked. That, plus being referred to Professor Zhou's Bioelectronics Lab as a freshman and finding out the work lined up exactly with a problem I'd cared about for years.
