I serve as an Administrative Assistant in the Career Services Center at Jackson State University, where I provide comprehensive administrative support and contribute to initiatives that promote student career readiness and professional development. The Career Services Center coordinates a wide range of campus-wide programs and events, including Career Fairs, Mock Interviews, Alumni Panels, and Professional Dress Pageants, all designed to equip students with the skills, confidence, and connections needed to successfully enter the workforce.
In addition, our office manages the Tiger Career Closet, a resource that provides professional attire to students in need, helping to remove barriers to career advancement and access to professional opportunities.

I love to read. In my spare time, you will see me with a book or my Kindle in my hand!

I aspire to make a lasting impact in higher education by helping students access the resources, opportunities, and support needed to achieve their academic and professional goals. Through my role in the Career Services Center at Jackson State University, I am committed to fostering student success by promoting career readiness, professional development, and equitable access to career opportunities. Professionally, I seek to continue growing as a higher education professional by expanding my leadership, program coordination, and student engagement skills while contributing to initiatives that strengthen workforce development and student success outcomes. I am passionate about creating meaningful experiences that empower students to transition confidently from college to successful careers. In addition to my professional responsibilities, I am currently pursuing my degree at Jackson State University, with a tentative graduation date of Fall 2027. As both a university employee and student, I bring a unique perspective to my work and remain dedicated to lifelong learning, personal growth, and academic excellence. Personally, I strive to be a positive influence within my community and workplace by exemplifying integrity, service, and a commitment to continuous improvement. My ultimate goal is to leave a legacy of helping others recognize their potential, overcome barriers, and achieve success in both their personal and professional lives.
