Second African American engineer to be hired to work for PJM Interconnection Office (Power Control Center). Worked as an intern & ambassador for CDC in the office of Sustainability & NASA. Emanuel's dissertation used Data Mining, Intelligent Systems and Decision Support Systems (DSS) with an emphasis on Sustainability & Systems Engineering. His dissertation model can be used to help identify Disparities/Environmental Injustices found in urban communities and school districts in America.
