Morris Curry comes from a multi-faceted background of experience and expertise stemming from his many years of civic engagement, business management, public service, and faith communities. Curry’s life experiences have particularly qualified him to understand and appreciate the needs of prisoners and their families, especially those coming from the Black and Latino communities.
Current Whereabouts:
Currently, I am assisting one of the oldest Senior Citizens Club organized in Northern California in 1957 to become a major influence regarding Senior issues in the town of Vacaville CA. I am also volunteering with Faith in Action to provide services to Seniors who need assistance with rides to medical or shopping appointments. I continue to provide pulpit supply for congregations while also serving as the Senior Pastor Emeritus of Hosanna Life Renewal Christian ministries who have planted 3 Filipino congregations in Southern California.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Morris A. Curry, Jr. is best known as a Change Agent because of his skills as a Pastor/Teacher, Community Organizer, Human and Civil Rights Activist. Dr. Curry is a native of the State of Oklahoma where he grew up under America's version of apartheid manifested through "Separate, But Equal" and participated in the Civil Rights Movement in Oklahoma. He was a co-founder of the Oklahoma State A. Philip Randolph Institute. He is committed to the community through helping it to regain its moral base by promoting a value system based on Agape: “Consider others more important than yourself” (Philippians 2:3)

Became the Drum Major of the Manuel Training High School Marching Band.
Best Memories:
One of the best high school memories was being a member of our High School's Basketball team who went the Oklahoma State Basketball Championship as the only Black High School in our division.
