I have a passion for science and learning! My entire life revolves around encouraging continued education, especially in the STEM fields. I want to continue that journey with the financial help that various scholarships could provide me.

Being able to make friends from all over the world, attending the college sporting events, being involved on campus through my organizations

Analyzed genetic variants in SPOP gene linked to prostate cancer in African American men. Worked in skin cancer department focusing on melanoma effects in people of color using zebrafish.
Summer Undergraduate Intern | MD Anderson Cancer Center

Participated in 10-week CPRIT-CURE research program with workshops on cancer research careers. Conducted research on MGMT gene influence on triple negative breast cancer treatment.
