Claim To Fame:

I showed up to Howard University-Freshman year with a blue cast. Hometown:: "Boston" (but really a little city named Everett), I dressed in sweatshirts, baggy jeans, sneakers and rocked a ponytail on top (like your classic TLC Baby, Baby, Baby video). One of my closest friends revealed that she thought I was this "thug" from Boston. By Sophomore Year: New Cut, High Fashion, Nails and Make-up took over, and I was forever viewed as a "Sweetheart" that would do anything for anyone! "Classy, Boogie, Ratchet--What's happening" LOL

Most Memorable Moment:

BEST $1.00 concert ever: 930 Club-The Roots. Two minute convo w/Tupac, in a hotel suite after a show. There wasn't a club in Washington DC, that I haven't been in--turned out the dance floor until the lights flashed. Kappa Coolout, HU Homecomings. Getting the Knight Ridder scholarship and interning at the Philadelphia Inquirer. This opened the door to my first newspaper job after graduation-with The Wilmington News Journal.
