Experience
I currently work with Yale University as Strength and Conditioning Intern
I have 1 years of experience working in the Sports and Recreation industry.
Strength and Conditioning Intern | Yale University
From January 2026 to April 2026 • 0 year(s)
I assist with strength and speed training across multiple NCAA Division I Ivy League varsity teams in a high-volume, multi-sport training environment. I support daily weight room operations, including session setup, equipment organization, and managing training flow for team-based sessions, while reporting weekly to a supervisor overseeing Baseball, Track and Field (Throwers), and Men’s Soccer. I have gained hands-on experience utilizing performance technology, including Perch cameras for velocity-based training, the 1080 Sprint system for speed development and resisted sprint training, and Hawkin Dynamics force plates and the Dashr Training System for athlete testing and monitoring. I also assist with the administration of ASI (Athletic Standard Index) testing, ensuring proper setup, clear athlete instruction, and accurate data collection.
Strength and Agility Coach | K's Training Academy
From September 2025 to December 2025 • 0 year(s)
I coached junior high and high school baseball and softball athletes, leading age-appropriate strength, speed, and agility training sessions with an emphasis on movement quality, coordination, and foundational strength development. I taught and reinforced proper technique for fundamental movement patterns, including squatting, hinging, pushing, pulling, sprinting, and deceleration. I utilized Vitruve technology to introduce velocity-based training concepts and monitor bar speed during resistance training, and implemented jump mat testing to assess lower-body power and track athlete progress over time. Throughout all sessions, I delivered structured group training while maintaining athlete engagement, safety, and efficient training flow.
Strength and Conditioning Intern | Jackson State University
From January 2025 to May 2025 • 0 year(s)
I assisted with strength, speed, and conditioning programs for eight NCAA Division I men’s and women’s teams, accumulating over 350 supervised coaching hours. My responsibilities included leading dynamic warm-ups, movement preparation, and recovery sessions, as well as coaching Olympic lifting progressions, plyometrics, and mobility work under the supervision of certified strength and conditioning staff. I utilized Vitruve technology to support velocity-based training by providing real-time feedback on bar speed and training intent, and assisted with hamstring strength assessment and monitoring using Vald’s NordBord system to support injury risk reduction strategies. Throughout all sessions, I emphasized athlete safety through proper technique instruction, spotting, equipment setup, and support of daily training logistics and athlete monitoring.
