Developed and led a team in achieving assignment deadlines, executing resolution plans, meeting client needs, and negotiating adjustments to plan as needed. Oversaw the Legal Fees Management email box for external and internal inquiries regarding various types of issues, including adjustment appeals, payment status request, outside counsel’s failure to submits bills and Timekeeper rate approvals. Managed enormous legal invoices received from outside counsel and third-party vendors for compliance with Wells Fargo’s Outside Counsel Engagement Terms and Conditions and for compliance with matter budgets and case plans. Ensured that invoices are efficiently reviewed per the Outside Counsel Engagement Terms and Conditions policy guidelines. Recommended and tracked invoice fee and expense adjustments to generate company savings. Collaborated with in house-counsel to develop course of action for resolution of legal invoices, reports on amounts of invoices received and spend. Communicated with outside counsel with respect to guidelines, billing disputes, and invoice resolution. Led multiple Projects such as: Ebill Initiative Project, Revisions to Outside Counsel Terms & Conditions Project and Adjustment Reasons Codes Project. Supported to a specialized practice or functional area within the Legal Department requiring a high degree of analytical, written, and oral communication and organizational skills. Provided substantiation and background for specific client inquiries, claims, disputes, cases and proceedings with minimal direction of an attorney. Worked directly with business clients and develops an understanding of business unit needs and develops plans to resolve issues.
