Non traditional student and aspiring economist graduating from Bowie State University in May 2026 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. My work spans economic research, data analysis, AI driven projects, and field research in the Dominican Republic, with a focus on development, agriculture, inflation, and Latin America and the Caribbean. I am heavily considering a PhD in Economics and regularly write independently on Medium about economics, history, and politics, using research and public writing to explore long term development and policy questions.

Claim To Fame:

My claim to fame in college has been turning what I learned in economics and statistics into real world research. In June 2025, I began an independent field study in the Dominican Republic that allowed me to apply the skills I built in the classroom to a real development issue. That experience showed me that the theories, methods, and analytical tools I study in lectures have real value when used to understand food systems and economic hardship. The project, "Smallholder Agriculture, Inflation, and Market Volatility: Implications for Food Security in the Dominican Republic", is the manifestation of those skills and stands as one of the clearest examples of how my academic training has grown into meaningful research.

Most Memorable Moment:

One of my most memorable college moments was being selected for the SURI program, a competitive opportunity that provided funding for students to work closely with faculty on research. Through that experience, I strengthened my skills in econometrics, statistics, and data analytics while contributing to a project titled �The Impact of Women�s Education, Income, and Economic Rights on Agricultural Productivity in Latin America and the Caribbean.� It became especially meaningful when I received lead author credit, marked it as my first publication, and presented the work in poster form at a symposium.
