About   (request update)
In the fall of 2026, I will be attending North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University as a psychology major with the goal of becoming a sports psychologist. I am originally from Atlanta, GA, and my experiences as a track athlete shaped my passion for mental health and supporting others. Track helped me overcome challenges in my life, and now I want to help people the same way track helped me. At A&T, I am focused on growing as a leader, building community, and preparing for a future where I can make a positive impact on the people I look forward to serving.
Current Whereabouts:
Track and Field, Networking, Working Out, Mental Health, Holistic Health, Working with and giving back to the youth, Learning more about my community and giving back whenever I can
Life & Professional Aspirations:
After I obtain my master’s degree by the grace of God, I look forward to creating my own holistic health and wellness business as the sports psychologist I aspire to become. My goal is to build a space where athletes and everyday people can work on their physical, mental, and emotional well being all in one place. I want to create an environment that feels safe, supportive, and uplifting, especially for those who come from communities where mental health is often overlooked or misunderstood. My experiences with track, mental health, and the challenges I faced growing up showed me how powerful the mind and body connection truly is. Because of that, I want to dedicate my career to helping people strengthen their confidence, manage stress, overcome setbacks, and develop healthier habits that last beyond sports. I also plan to stay connected to schools and youth programs so I can support students the same way I once needed support. In the long run, I hope to build a business that not only provides therapy and performance training but also offers mentorship, workshops, and community outreach. I want to pour back into the same kinds of communities that shaped me into who I am today, and I look forward to helping people become healthier versions of themselves. My purpose is bigger than just some job title because I want to make a real impact on people’s lives, and I believe God is guiding me toward that path every step of the way.

From June 2025 to August 2026 • 1 year(s)
During the summer, I work at Bessie Branham Recreation Center as a summer camp counselor. I supervise groups of children, lead daily activities, and help create a fun and safe environment for everyone. My responsibilities include keeping the kids engaged, supporting them during games and projects, and making sure they feel included and comfortable throughout the day. I enjoy building relationships with the campers and being someone they can trust and look up to. Working at Bessie has strengthened my leadership skills and has shown me how much I enjoy making a positive impact on the youth
R.I.S.E After School Instructor | Charles R Drew Charter School
From November 2024 to May 2026 • 2 year(s)
At Drew Charter Elementary, I work as an R.I.S.E After School Instructor where I supervise students, help with classroom activities, and make sure the environment stays safe and positive. I assist teachers with cleanup and organization, and I step in whenever students need support, whether that means helping them stay focused, settling small disagreements, or guiding them through transitions. Working with the youth in my own community has made the job meaningful for me, and it’s what helped me realize how much I enjoy working with children. The role has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to stay calm while managing a lot at once.
