My name is Jada Jackson, and I am an 18 year old student from Miami, Florida. I recently graduated from Miami Southridge Senior High School, where I worked hard to maintain a 3.9 GPA. Education has always been important to me because I understand the opportunities it can create, not only for myself but also for my family. As a first generation college student, attending college means more than earning a degree, it represents breaking barriers and creating a path for future generations in my family. I am honored to have the opportunity to attend Xavier University of Louisiana, and HBCU that aligns with my values, goals, and desire to be apart of a supportive community that encourage excellence.
