Claim To Fame:

As a nontraditional student entering college after a decade of drug addiction, there were many reservations and fears. However my previous experience as a subtance abuse counselor gave me an edge. Public speaking was one of my strenghs. I used my past life experiences in speech, as well as my english classes not only for a grade but for the opportunities to reach out to students who were victims of substance abuse. Knowing the people perish from the lack of knowlege, afforded me the opportunity to share my experience strenth and hope.

Most Memorable Moment:

Dr. Annie William, who was Dean of Weekend College during my freashman year, has been one of my most memorable mentors. Dr. Williams has always encouraged me to press on toward my ultimate goal, while giving me direction and advice in my plight to excel. April 7, 2005 I will be inducted into the Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society. I give all the credit to GOD who has allowed me the privalege to achieve such an honor. I know today that "I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME"
