Deadline: April 26, 2012
Sponsor: Do Something
Award Type: Scholarship Money

Music education is under attack! Despite the proven fact that students who participate in music programs have better test scores, lower drug-use rates, lower drop-out rates, more success in college and more involvement in their communities, music and art education programs have their budgets slashed every year. To qualify for the scholarship, you must create an original music video, parody music video or spoken word video about why music education is important and submit it on the Do Something website. You must also be a U.S. or Canadian citizen and be under the age of 25 to qualify for this award.
