1 in 12 teens in high school are injured or threatened with a weapon each year. We believe school should be a safe place where no one should fear for their life. Drawing attention to this shocking reality is the first step to solving the problem. DoSomething.org is helping you spread the word and put an end to gun violence. The solution starts with you. Go to www.dosomething.org/social-scholarship/gun-violence to share astonishing facts about gun violence with your friends. By sharing stats with your friends, you'll be automatically entered to win a $2,000 scholarship. No minimum GPA and no essay required. You must be between 13 and 25 years of age and be a U.S. or Canadian citizen to be considered for this award.
