Mia Dent is a junior majoring in Political Science with a minor in Public Relations at NCAT. She serves on the Student Advisory Board for the Center of Excellence for Social Justice and is a Student Senator for the College of Arts, Humanities & the Social Sciences. Currently, Mia serves on the Young Feminist Committee for the National Organization for Women, in which she is charged with capacity-building related to GenZ engagement, specifically on college campuses. Mia co-founded Living at the Intersections, Inc. (LATI), an organization whose mission is to intentionally provide space and education for and regarding Black girls/Emerging Adults and Black nonbinary youth.

Most Memorable Moment:

I cannot just choose one! Regarding a positive memorable moment, I would have to choose homecoming. As it relates to something that was memorable, but I do not need to repeat, I would choose the heat going out in the dorm and having to be evacuated. Most recently, it would be joining my sorority and being selected as a Student Senator.
