Q&A With Roger Davis

(interview me)
Roger Davis
CEO, AKU Media Productions, LLC

Location: Everett, MA United States
Joined: Sep 8th, 2007
About   (request update)
An activist, writer, speaker, educator, healer and CEO. An unlikely combination, but all fit in regards to Roger M. Davis (aka, Adisa Maina Omar).
His activism started at the age of 15, in 1970 he organized a non-profit environmental organization (Bronx Environmental Society, Inc.) and introduced a controversial focus, called 'black ecology'. He became the youngest person to receive a federal research grant, at age 17, without having entered college, or obtaining an advanced degree.
In 1973 he did enter Cornell University, where he chaired the Southern African Liberation Committee and spear-headed efforts to force Cornell to divest from the South African apartheid regime.
Upon graduating, his career has spanned over thirty years, starting with serving as a consultant to the Atlanta, GA based Institute of the Black World, and later, his work in progressive causes has taken him to Egypt, South Korea, Cuba, Sri Lanka and Malaysia, spreading his message of the need of human transformation technology in this age of globalization. An apt title for his 2009 nine volume-set book.
